What is an in-frame kitchen?
On most kitchens, the doors sit on the front of the cabinet. On an in-frame kitchen, a solid frame runs around each cabinet and the doors sit inside it, perfectly flush. The visible frame gives the furniture a strong, architectural look and highlights the precision of the build, because every gap has to be consistent.

In-frame or traditional?
The two are often confused. A Shaker door is a simple five-piece door with a recessed centre panel, and it can be fitted on any type of cabinet.
